3 Months Later...

Hello after a long break! WARNING: This post is EXTREMELY LONG! Feel free to exit at anytime. My bad. I just had to get everything on here to get it off my chest. There are still a few events that I am missing but I have been loading all the pics on here while doing laundry and now it's done, so I gotta scoot! (P.S. I love doing laundry at our laundrymat! The first week I did 8 loads in the amount of time it would take to do 1! My gosh. I don't think i'll be able to go back to having just 1!) Anywho, These are oldest to newest.

So back before Breana started dating Joe, we used to hang out alot. :) J/K. Well kinda. Anyways, she came over one night and we did a pamper night and did facials. It was a blast.

Of course, Michael saw us, and had to join in! That boy sometimes... ;)


Our cousin Brian and Uncle Eddie came down to visit from Kentucky/Indiana and so we all got together and we rented a room at Noah's in South Jordan! Whoot Whoot! Here are the pics!

We went to Aunt Bonnie's house for a Mardi Gras party with Michael's family! I grew up thinking Mardi Gras was a bad thing so I had never celebrated it in my life! Michael was born in Louisiana and I guess in some places it's celebrated other than the usual way we all think of! Anyways, they had a whole spread of food! I just forgot to take pictures before I ate...what, it looked so good!

Caitlyn and I had never tried this soup stuff they made. I can't remember the name now but it's some soup they make on Mardi Gras. It looked and sounded way gross but it actually was really good. This is before the first bite.

This is Michael on Valentine's Day! I never did post what he did but he made dinner and cleaned up the whole house, it was such a good surprise. I had never felt so loved! I love you babe.

So about a week ago we took Jordan Darrell Magelby to the MTC! Michael, myself, Dallin, Dee, Courtney, Sherice, Crae, Aunt Trudy, and Uncle Bob went to Magelby's (sorry, forgot to take pictures, I guess I was hungry again!) and then to the MTC. Anyways, here are the pics. Dallin and Jordan immitating a statue. Look closely, they were very precise.

I absolutely love this kid. We've grown up together since we were little playing house all the way up til now. I have so many great memories with him and i'm so grateful to have such an amazing cuzin. I am so proud of him and I know he will be an amazing missionary. I love you Cuz!

Eventful Week.

Hello all. It has been quite some time since I have updated our sad little blog. I am stuck sitting at BYU with Michael and unfortunately I don't have my camera with me, so I can't put any pictures on this post. For those of you who are disinterested in reading this any longer feel free to flip to someone elses! :) I'll be sure to put pictures up next time. Anyways, just wanted to update everyone on what's been going on in our life. Everything has been going pretty well. Work has been going great, Michael has been doing absolutely amazing in school and we have been having a lot of fun together. This last Monday I worked in the morning, stopped off at the grocery store, made dinner, and cozied up to the third twilight book. It was one of those days where I felt like I had got so much accomplished. It was a good day. Michael had been at school all day and had text me to say he was going to be in the basement at BYU until 7:30 so he wouldn't have reception and then he would still have to read 4 hours after that. But it was one of those texts where the words didn't end up right so I had to just try to figure out what it said. I enterpreted it to say he would be home at 7:30 but that he would still have to read for 4 hours after. I figured that would be great since I was planning on reading as well. Anyways, about 7:45 I called and asked him where he was (and we figured out the misunderstanding) but since I was going to be reading too Michael said he would just read at home. (He doesn't study at home because I tend to be too distracting! :) My bad. It is just so hard to not talk to him about something when I think about it!) Anyways, so he came home and he was reading in the family room because he likes to read sitting up and I was reading in bed because I like to be really cozy when I read. Anywho, next thing I know I am laying in bed and I wake up and Michael is talking to a 911 Operator about sending an ambulance! The first thing I thought was we can't afford that!!! It turns out that I had a seizure. I guess all of the sudden Michael heard me making this weird weezing noise and when I didn't respond he ran in, I was laying with my head kinked with blood coming out of my mouth and my legs twisted out of bed! He called 911, and sometime between all of this and the E.M.T.'s arriving I woke up. It was the weirdest feeling in the world. I don't think anyone that hasn't experienced it could really understand. We went to the E.R. and I had alot of tests done and alot of doctors visits and hopefully they'll be able to figure out what went wrong. I have an appointment with a neurologist on the 10th and he should be able to tell us alot. I have never had a seizure in my whole life. Anyways, I don't want this to be completely depressing, just wanted to let you all know what's going on. As of now, I am not able to drive or be alone. (In case I have another seizure) It has been a rough week but I am just so grateful for my family and all that they do to love and support Michael and I. It has been so emotional, and so different than i'm used to but I am just so grateful that I misunderstood Michael and that he was there when it happened. I don't even know what would have happened if he wasn't. I have had such a different outlook on life and I am just so grateful to be alive with so many great people to surround Michael and I. I am depend alot more on other people for rides, and for hanging out with me while Michale's at school and it's be very different. We have experienced some amazing blessings and I know that there is a reason that this is happening now and I hope to just make the best of it and learn what I need to learn from this experience. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know how much I love you. I can't drive, but if you ever need anything, I am just a short drive away! (For you!) :) This life is so short, and so amazing, and in a weird twisted way I am grateful for the reminder. Hope you all have a great week. So I wanted to prove to everyone that I am truly sorry for being so bad at updating our blog! So I thought I would try to make it up and update you from the past! I have pictures from Valentines Day but I thought I would start with the oldest first! Don't worry, i'm almost caught up! Anyways, all of these pictures are from Colorado and from Christmas! We spent about a month in Colorado, two weeks at a time. Michael worked on an Oil Rigg, it was horrible work, but good pay! He was such a trooper for our family! We couldn't possibly had made it without him working so hard!

These pictures are from our living arrangements in Colorado! :) When we first went out there we were having a hard time finding a place to stay because we were only going to be there for two weeks on at a time for 4 weeks total! Most places wanted a year contract! In the search for a place to stay I ended up stumbling onto a website for a bed and breakfast! The owners were so nice and they graciously accepted us into their home! We stayed in a mother-in-law type apartment over the garage a few feet out from the bed and breakfast for the first two weeks. It was such a cute place and it was nice to stay at a nice place since I was basically home all day! The second two week period we went out we spent the first couple days in the actual bed and breakfast. The owners were letting some ladies from their church group use the apartment over the garage for a few days! So we were FORCED to stay in the Master Suite at the Bed & Breakfast! That was nice because it was sort of like a second honeymoon! The bed and breakfast was just beautiful and it felt more like we were on vacation! (Well at least for me!) The first pictures are from when we stayed for a couple days in the Bed & Breakfast and what it looked like! I miss having a big jet tub more than anything! So relaxing and nice!

I LOVED the shower at the Bed and Breakfast! It had two shower heads, it was really nice! That way you could be covered in water! It was hard to not take long showers!

We only had a mini fridge! It made buying and making food tough!

The bed was HUGE! I wish everyone could always get to sleep in something so big and cozy!

The fireplace and sitting area was really cozy!

We ate sandwiches the first day we were there! It was really hard to make them. The only counter space I had was that little round table.

This is pictures from the mother-in-law apartment above the garage! I loved it! It was just like our own little place and it was really fun! (Well at least for me!)

I liked the kitchen alot! It was really cute.

There were two beds! (So for all of you that didn't come visit, look what you were missing out of! You could have slept in this bed!)

This is the bathroom! It was so big and nice! Figures we would have to move from using this bathroom to ours now!

I loved the bath tub there! It was put to alot of good use!

It has been a love/hate decision! Some days I like it, some days I hate it! As of today, I am wishing it was long! Before I cut it I noticed everyone's cute short hair do's! But now, all I notice is everyone's pretty long hair and all the things they can do with it! :( But here are some pics!

This was last week when I went to BYU and ate dinner with Michael! I used to make dinner, pack it up, take it over, unpack it, heat it up, and then eat. But it got to be way too much work! So now if he absolutely has to stay, I just come eat at the Cougar Eat! Not too bad! :)
